I fell in love with the Author's writing last year. Her style and stories transport me into her pages.In a story of 2 generations told in alternating chapters, we have Willow and Luc in the present. Cathy is Willows mother, and her story is told in flashbacks. There is quite a bit of content happening, but I never felt lost as the story flows. Willow’s story begins on her wedding day, which never completes, and we find her running back to her home on the Island of Wight. She thinks she will be taking some time before getting her life back on track. Her first love, Luc, has turned up for her mother's festival. As the two reconnect, the past starts to come out. Secrets are unraveling like a ball of yarn. Will the festival happen? Can the secrets be survived?
